Living out the faith is a lifelong process that requires us to respond to God's call to know, love, and serve him. We do so by seeking a deeper understanding of what he teaches through the Scriptures and the Church, strengthening our relationship with him by prayer and the sacraments, and giving of ourselves in service to our neighbor. At Immaculate Conception, we hope to enable our parishioners to live out their faith more fully through a variety of events and programs. Subscribe to ICC's FLOCKNOTE to receive notifications regarding Adult Faith Formation. We invite those who are not Catholic to learn more about BECOMING CATHOLIC.
This Lent, journey with the Israelites to the Promised Land. Over the course of five weeks, we will read the book of Exodus, the story of God delivering his chosen people. We will meet at 6:30 PM in the Choir Room, located in the front of the church's office building. You can also join online via Zoom by clicking HERE. For more information, please contact Fr Jason Allan, FrJason.Allan@iccdenton.org.
NOTE FOR ANYONE JOINING VIA ZOOM: Rather than the waiting room where I have to let each person into the Zoom call, we'll try using a passcode so you can let yourself in. After clicking on the link above, you'll be asked for a passcode. THE PASSCODE IS 2255.
Join us as we read and discuss works of great literature. Stay tuned for our next book.
Join us at Denton County Brewing Co just off the Denton Square for fellowship and learning more about our Catholic faith. Stay tuned for our next event.
Expand your knowledge in the Catholic Faith. Adult Faith Formation has two classes to work with your schedule. Sunday Mornings in the AE room attached to the ICCS Gym at 8:30 AM and Sunday evenings in classroom 209 at 6:00 PM. The schedule coincides with the Sunday faith formation of our youth so that their parents/guardians can grow in their faith at the same time — no need to leave and come back for picking them up. Prayer, expanding your Catholic faith knowledge, and fellowship are the focus of each class. This school year we will cover John Bergsma’s Bible Basics for Catholics – A New Picture of Salvation History. For more information, please contact Celeste Pilgrim, cpilgrim@centurytel.net.
Please join us each week for an opportunity to reflect on the upcoming Sunday Mass readings. We meet on Wednesdays at 10:00 AM in Portable B (Northside of the school). For the specific schedule of meetings and any further information, please contact Tom and Kathleen Sands, thomassands@sbcglobal.net.
