Safe Environment training is required for all Clergy, Religious, Lay Employees and Volunteers PRIOR TO SERVING IN MINISTRY, and must be renewed every two years. Trainings are held throughout the year at ICC and all Parishes in the Diocese of Fort Worth. Below are instructions for creating your profile and to view and sign up for a Safe Environment Awareness Session that fits your schedule.
If you have any questions or require help in pre-registering for a SEA Session, please contact Terry Scaggs, Safe Environment Coordinator, at 940-565-1770, Ext. 219, or email, safeenvironment@iccdenton.org
Initial and Renewal Safe Environment Certification currently requires attendance at a “Live” Safe Environment Awareness Session and REQUIRES A VIRTUS PROFILE. Creating a VIRTUS profile allows you to view and sign up for SEA Sessions by logging into https://fwdioc.org/training-sessions. Select: “I Need A VIRTUS Profile”(Initial) or “I Have a VIRTUS Profile” (Renewal) and follow the prompts.
